Bud Club: Climate Emergency Sculpture

BUD Club: is a full-time youth-led, educational and developmental youth provision based in Derry City & Strabane District Council Area. providing young people aged 11-25 years old with disabilities a safe, fun and inclusive environment to engage and foster positive relationships and enhance personal development and social opportunities. BUD Seniors meets 4 nights per week from the HUB Facility @ Northside

Bud Seniors created a sculpture made from things people throw away. The project aim was to highlight the harm we are doing to the environment and will be displayed in 'The Hub' to alert others to the climate emergency. This project will have multiple educational elements for young people with disabilities such as: relaxation and skill building.

The project was created in 'The Hub' with artist/facilitator Amanda Walker as an Eden Place Arts Centre outreach project.
